During the 2005 National Bargaining, Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition agreed that in order to adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment, innovative investments in partnerships, people and technologies would be required.
Not only were tuition reimbursement and educational leave policies enhanced but a new educational training trust was established with the goal of creating a culture that values and invests in lifelong learning and enhanced career development opportunities for represented employees.
The Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust and newly negotiated workforce development benefits are products of labor-management efforts by the Coalition, Kaiser Permanente and your Union. In partnership we look forward to assisting you in reaching your career goals at Kaiser Permanente!
